About Kelsey Steffen

With a long-standing relationship with real estate through her work as an urban planner and interior designer, Kelsey is a skilled agent with an eye for interior detail and layout and an extensive knowledge of the redevelopment process and local regulations. Kelsey uses this experience to guide and advocate for her clients as they prepare to sell or buy a home.

Before joining listModern Kelsey was the Director of the Advisory Services Program with the Urban Land Institute, Americas, with prior experience as a Long-Range Planner for Arlington County, where she also managed the review and approval of form-based code redevelopment projects. Before pursuing urban planning, Kelsey was an interior designer, working with national home developers to design and stage homes in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Kelsey holds a Master of City & Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She earned her B.A. in Art and Interior Design from California State University, Chico, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
